Dear dA-friends and watchers.

I need your thoughts...
I've been contacted be a publisher wanting to use some of my artwork for their book covers! This part is awesome!!
But I'm having trouble deciding whether the payment is okay or not, according to the work and hours I put into my work? (You might sense I think the price is a bit low) :hmm:
On the other side this is a great opportunity and a nice feature on my resume. ;)

It also has to be said that I currently work for another publisher (different country), where I get A LOT more for my designs!

What would you do? And what do you think is a fair price to ask, for a book cover photo manipulation?

Thanks guys :blowkiss:

In my opinion, you have to think if to whom is directed that book and what kind of publisher is going to publish it, because if it is a really small one, they won't be able to pay you that much, though If it is a big publisher and they still offer a really low payment, they are not valuing your work.

If you consider this as an investment, do it, but if you feel that is not as good as you may want, and the payment is not fair, just don't accept.

There will be many other opportunities. Your work is really good work, It is really amazing and beautiful. This won't be your last chance.
