I think that's some sort of tribute to Rene Magritte's The Treachery of Images. He painted a pipe with an extremely realistic approach then wrote "ceci nest pas une pipe" (this is not a pipe) under it. Magritte was a surreal artist and wanted to show people things might or might not be what they seem to be. Afterall, it wasn't a pipe, it was a painting of a pipe
